Let's go Lip Rippin'

Bass fishing is my Passion

Welcome to Lip Rippin With Mo. There is something about these little green fish and I can't stop chasing them. It's an addiction and I've been hooked my whole life.

If I am not doing any "catchin", then you will see me racing around the lake in my 2022 Phoenix 921 Elite. AKA: the Bird. For those who have not ever been in one of these boats, they are amazing floating devices, that are very stable to fish out of and hauls more gear than any one person could every dream of needing for a day of fishing. Lot's of memories out of this bird!! I do a video walk through of the bird below.

Too much fun!!!

I am the "DinkMaster"

Most of the time, you will see me on world famous Lake Fork. Lake Fork is an amazing fishery. It has everything a bass fisherman would ever want to fish. You can go out there with any technique you want to throw and catch something no matter what time of the year. I also love living here, as my little ranch commonly has many different  wildlife found on it, such as hawgs, deer, turkey, peacocks and the bald eagles. All of these are majestic creatures in their own way.

Let's go fishing!

Living here in Emory make world famous Lake Fork my home lake.

I am very fortunate to be living in the tiny town of Emory, Texas. I've been fishing on Lake Fork since it opened when I was knee high to a piss ant. My dad would tell me stories of taking me fishing as  a baby in his jon boat, on how I would be put in a box in the bottom of the boat while he fished. So I blame my father for this addiction. Thanks dad... for everything!!

Some times, the sun does shine down on me.

Lake Fork is a "Slot" lake.

What is a "slot" lake you may ask? Well, the law on world famous Lake Fork for bass fishing, is you can not "keep" or have in your possession any bass that is in-between 16-24 inches in length.

Here on world famous Lake Fork, fishing the slot brings it own sets of challenges. When it comes tournament time, you have to play by the rules of the slot. Which means, you can on bring in bass that are under 16 inches in length. Or if its your day and you catch one that is over 24 inches, you can bring that in. Any fish between 16 inches and 24 inches has to be put back into the lake immediately. Failing to do so will get you DQ'ed most times, as that is a question they ask you on the lie detector test. This slot, is what makes fishing world famous Lake Fork such a unique challenge. And this my friends, is why Mo is the "Dink Master".

Catching those "unders" will get you paid out here. So you have to know where and how to get'em!!

Here is Mo and neighbor and great friend Steve Hodge. I've learned a lot from him, and once in a while we get to fish together on tournament day. These are "unders". But 5 of those 2lb'ers will get you paid on world famous Lake Fork
